TEETER ELECTED IN HOUSE DISTRICT 44 SPECIAL ELECTION
CROW MOUNTAIN, Ark. — Republican Bill Teeter has been elected to serve as State Representative for Arkansas House District 44 following the special election held to fill the vacancy of nomination left by the passing of Rep. Stan Berry.
"I am completely humbled and honored by the support of my family, friends, and neighbors throughout District 44," Teeter said. "I promise to do my very best representing the people of Pope and Van Buren counties in our great state of Arkansas."
Teeter, a longtime public servant with more than 30 years of experience in emergency services, thanked voters for their confidence and expressed gratitude to those who participated in the election.
"I want to extend a sincere thank you to Nikki Phillips, Wes Freeman, and Brent Boland for answering the call and running for this office," Teeter said. "We have become friends during this process, and I cherish that dearly. Our district was well served by having candidates willing to step forward and serve their communities."
Teeter will represent House District 44, which includes portions of Pope and Van Buren counties.

Bill Teeter, a committed Christian, husband, father, and grandfather, lives on Crow Mountain with his wife, Kristi, a former member of the Pottsville School Board. He brings over three decades of public service experience to the race. He has served the people of Pope County as a volunteer firefighter, 911 dispatcher, constable, deputy coroner, search and rescue leader, and Assistant Director of Pope County 911 and the Office of Emergency Management.
