BILL TEETER WINS VACANCY OF OFFICE RUNOFF ELECTION
CROW MOUNTAIN, Ark. — Republican Bill Teeter has won the Vacancy of Office Runoff Election for House District 44. The special election was held following the passing of Rep. Stan Berry, whose lifetime of service to the State of Arkansas will long be remembered.
"I am humbled and honored by the trust the people have placed in me," Teeter said. "I promise to work hard every day to represent this district with integrity and honesty."
Teeter also thanked his opponent, Nikki Phillips, for her service to the community and her endorsement in the runoff election. "I appreciate Nikki's willingness to step forward and serve, and I am grateful for her support during the runoff," Teeter said. "I wish her and her family nothing but the best."
Teeter will represent District 44 in the Arkansas House of Representatives, which includes portions of Pope and Van Buren Counties, following the August 4th general election.

Bill Teeter, a committed Christian, husband, father, and grandfather, lives on Crow Mountain with his wife, Kristi, a former member of the Pottsville School Board. He brings over three decades of public service experience to the race. He has served the people of Pope County as a volunteer firefighter, 911 dispatcher, constable, deputy coroner, search and rescue leader, and Assistant Director of Pope County 911 and the Office of Emergency Management.
